Ingredients
For the Rollups:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
4 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for color)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Beef Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions. Flatten each portion into a thin patty, roughly 4 inches in diameter.
Step 2: Assemble the Rollups
Place a slice of cooked bacon on each beef patty, followed by a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese.
Carefully roll up each patty, starting from one end and tucking in the sides as you go. Secure the rollups with toothpicks if needed to prevent them from unraveling.
Step 3: Cook the Rollups
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the assembled rollups seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 4: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
While the rollups are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and paprika.
Step 5: Finish and Serve
Once the rollups are done, brush them generously with the garlic butter sauce.
Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve hot
