Ingredients:
4 lobster tails (slightly thawed if frozen)
4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional for color and flavor)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Use kitchen scissors to cut down the top of the lobster shell lengthwise, stopping at the tail.
Gently lift the meat through the cut, resting it on top of the shell (this is called “butterflying”).
Rinse and pat dry with paper towels.
2. Make Garlic Butter Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley.
3. Brush & Marinate:
Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each lobster tail, including underneath the meat if possible.
Let them marinate for 10–15 minutes at room temperature.
4. Cook the Lobster (choose one method):
Broil: Preheat your oven broiler. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 10–12 minutes (depending on size), or until the meat is opaque and lightly browned.
Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill tails flesh side down for 5 minutes, flip, and grill shell side down for another 4–6 minutes.
5. Serve:
Drizzle with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Serve with lemon wedges and your choice of sides (like garlic mashed potatoes or buttered corn).
