– 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
– 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
– 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Pour the strawberry pie filling evenly into the bottom of the dish.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until it’s nice and smooth.
4. Spoon dollops of this cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling.
5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly on top, making sure to cover everything.
6. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, trying to cover as much as you can.
7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown and the edges start bubbling.
8. Allow it to cool a bit before serving. It’s delicious warm, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
