Ingredients:
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
8 ounces linguine pasta
4 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
Juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
Lemon slices, for garnish
Directions:
Season shrimp with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and let reduce by half, about 3 minutes.
Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and add to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine.
Return shrimp to the skillet. Toss everything together and cook until heated through, about 1 minute.
Serve garnished with Parmesan cheese, parsley, and lemon slices.
