Ingredients:
8 oz fettuccine pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
½ lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced
½ lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (divided)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley & extra Parmesan for garnish
Directions:
Cook Pasta: Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Drain & set aside.
Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil & butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with ½ tbsp Cajun seasoning and sear for 3-4 minutes per side (or until desired doneness). Remove & set aside.
Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add shrimp, ½ tbsp Cajun seasoning, and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove & set aside.
Make the Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, stir in Parmesan, paprika, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until thickened.
Combine: Toss pasta in the sauce, then add the shrimp & steak back to the pan. Stir gently.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley & extra Parmesan. Dig in!
