Ingredients:
โ 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
โ 2 large yellow onions, sliced
โ 2 cloves garlic, minced
โ 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
โ 2 tablespoons soy sauce
โ 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
โ 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
โ 1 teaspoon sugar
โ 1 tablespoon cornstarch
โ 2 tablespoons vegetable oil ๏ธ
โ 2 tablespoons water
โ Optional: sliced green onions or sesame seeds for garnish
Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix beef with cornstarch, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tbsp water. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Stir-fry the beef until browned, then set aside.
3. In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and onions. Stir-fry until onions are soft and fragrant.
4. Return beef to the pan. Add oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, and remaining soy sauce.
5. Stir-fry everything together for another 1โ2 minutes until well coated and glossy.
6. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles, and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
Tip: For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar or chili oil at the end!
