Classic Salisbury Steak with Rich Gravy

1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 large egg
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil (for cooking)
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon flour (for thickening)
1 tablespoon butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the meat mixture into 4-6 oval-shaped patties.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the beef broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and flour until smooth. Gradually add the mixture to the skillet, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
Return the patties to the skillet and spoon some of the gravy over them. Let the steaks simmer in the gravy for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Stir in butter for extra richness, then season the gravy with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
