Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, diced
4 slices bacon, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup chicken broth
8 oz fettuccine pasta
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside with the chicken.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Sprinkle in smoked paprika, and stir to combine.
Add the chicken broth to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits on the bottom of the pan. Bring to a simmer.
Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, allowing the sauce to thicken for 2-3 minutes.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat the noodles in the creamy sauce.
Return the cooked chicken and bacon to the skillet, stirring to combine everything.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
