Crispy Honey-Glazed Shrimp

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Oil for frying

Honey Glaze:
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sriracha (optional for heat)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry)

Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Dredge shrimp in cornstarch, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry shrimp until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, and garlic. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
Toss crispy shrimp in the honey glaze.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
