Ingredients:


2 filet mignon or ribeye steaks
2 lobster tails split in half, shell-on
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter melted
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
️ 1 tsp paprika
️ 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
Lemon wedges for serving

 

Instructions:


1️⃣ Start by using kitchen scissors to carefully cut down the center of the lobster shell, lifting the meat gently while keeping it attached at the end. Season the meat with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
2️⃣ Dry the steaks thoroughly and generously season both sides with salt and black pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Take them off the heat and let them rest.
3️⃣ Preheat the oven broiler to high. On a baking sheet, place the lobster tails and brush them with the melted butter mixed with garlic and red pepper flakes. Broil for 5-6 minutes until the meat becomes opaque and lightly golden.
4️⃣ In a small saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter on low heat. Add minced garlic and stir, cooking for approximately 30 seconds until fragrant. Drizzle this delightful garlic butter sauce over both the steak and lobster.
5️⃣ For serving, elegantly arrange the steak and lobster tails on a plate, drizzling with any remaining garlic butter sauce and garnishing with freshly chopped parsley. Serve with lemon wedges for a zesty touch.
