Filet Mignon Topped with Shrimp and Drizzled with Creamy Lobster Sauce

For the filet mignon:

4 filet mignons (about 200g each)
200g shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the lobster sauce:

100g lobster meat (fresh or frozen)
200ml heavy cream
1 shallot, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp butter
50ml white wine
1 tbsp tomato paste (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

1️⃣ Cook the Filet Mignon:

Heat 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the filets mignons with salt and pepper.
Cook the filets for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust for desired doneness).
Remove from heat and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:

In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp butter.
Cook the shrimp until pink, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Set aside.
3️⃣ Prepare the Lobster Sauce:

In a separate pan, melt 1 tbsp butter and sauté the shallot and garlic until softened.
Add the lobster meat and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Pour in the white wine and let it reduce for 2 minutes.
Add the heavy cream and tomato paste (if using), stirring until combined. Season with salt and pepper.
Let the sauce simmer and thicken for 4-5 minutes.
4️⃣ Assemble:
Place each filet mignon on a plate, top with shrimp, and drizzle the lobster sauce over the top.
5️⃣ Serve:

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy this luxurious, decadent dish!
