Filet Mignon with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

2 steaks mignon (170-225g each)
1 tablespoon of olive oil 1️
1 spoonful of butter
1 cup of sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup of heavy cream esp
1/4 cup of beef broth
1 chopped garlic clove
1 teaspoon of fresh thyme
Salt and pepper to taste enta
Fresh parsley for decorating

Prepare the steaks: Dry the steaks with absorbent paper and season with salt and pepper on both sides.

Seal the steaks: Heat a large skillet with olive oil and butter. Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked to taste. Remove and let it rest.

Prepare the sauce: In the same pan, add more butter if necessary and sauté the mushrooms until golden brown. Add the minced garlic, cook for 1 minute then pour the beef broth. Let it reduce for a few minutes, then add heavy cream and thyme. Cook until sauce thickens, season with salt and pepper.

Serve: Place the steaks on a plate, pour the mushroom sauce on top and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy this exquisite recipe!
