* 2 lbs Ground Beef
* 2 Large Onions, thinly sliced
* 2 tbsp Butter
* 1 tbsp Olive Oil
* 1 cup Beef Broth
* ½ cup Breadcrumbs
* ½ cup Gruyere Cheese, grated
* 2 Eggs
* 2 cloves Garlic, minced
* 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
* 1 tsp Dried Thyme
* Salt & Pepper, to taste

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2️⃣ Caramelize onions – Cook onions in butter & oil over medium heat for 20-25 min until golden.
3️⃣ Add broth – Pour in beef broth & reduce by half, then let onions cool.
4️⃣ Mix meatloaf – In a bowl, combine beef, breadcrumbs, cheese, eggs, garlic, Worcestershire, thyme, salt & pepper.
5️⃣ Incorporate onions – Stir cooled onions into the meat mixture.
6️⃣ Shape & bake – Form into a loaf, place in a greased dish, & bake for 1 hour (until internal temp reaches 160°F).
7️⃣ Rest & serve – Let sit 10 min before slicing for maximum juiciness.
Tips: Swap Gruyere for Swiss or mozzarella. Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed!
