Ingredients:
2 lobster tails, split in half
8 large scallops, patted dry
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions:
Prepare the Lobster:
Cut the lobster tails in half lengthwise. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Sear the Lobster:
Heat 2 tbsp butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Place lobster tails flesh-side down and sear for 2-3 minutes until slightly golden.
Flip, baste with butter, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until opaque. Remove and set aside.
Sear the Scallops:
In the same skillet, add a little more butter if needed.
Sear scallops for 2 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
Reduce heat to low, add remaining butter and garlic, and cook until fragrant.
Stir in red pepper flakes, lemon juice, and parsley.
Combine & Serve:
Return lobster and scallops to the skillet, spoon garlic butter over the top.
Serve hot with lemon wedges and enjoy!
