Garlic Butter Lobster Tails & Seared Scallops

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

2 lobster tails, split in half
1 lb large sea scallops, patted dry
6 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tsp paprika (optional, for color)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges, for serving

1. Rinse the lobster tails and scallops. Pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika on the lobster.
2. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and set aside.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the scallops for 2 minutes on each side or until golden. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same pan, add more olive oil if needed. Place lobster tails cut side down and sear for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip, spoon over garlic butter, and cook until opaque.
5. Plate the lobster and scallops. Drizzle remaining garlic butter on top, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
