2 lobster tails, shelled and halved
8 large sea scallops, patted dry
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
3 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/4 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
Sear the Lobster & Scallops:
Heat butter and olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Season lobster tails with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Place them flesh-side down in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until opaque and golden.
Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sear the scallops for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Remove from heat and set aside with the lobster.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 1 minute.
Pour in white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Stir in lemon juice and black pepper.
Finish & Serve:
Return the lobster and scallops to the pan, spooning the garlic butter sauce over them.
Garnish with fresh parsley and an extra squeeze of lemon.
Serve immediately with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
