Garlic Butter Steak & Grilled Shrimp Recipe

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

For the Steak:
2 ribeye or New York strip steaks
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
For the Shrimp:
½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp Cajun seasoning (optional)
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

Prepare the Steak:
Pat steaks dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder
Drizzle with olive oil and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes
Prepare the Shrimp:
In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning (if using)
Grill the Steak:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat
Grill steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or to desired doneness
Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes
Grill the Shrimp:
Thread shrimp onto skewers
Grill for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque
Remove from grill
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat
Stir in minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper
Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant
Serve:
Drizzle garlic butter sauce over steaks and shrimp
Garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges
