Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Cabbage: Cut the cabbage into thick wedges (about 1.5 inches thick) and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the minced garlic and brush this mixture over the cabbage wedges.
Pour the Cream & Broth: In the baking dish, pour the heavy cream and chicken (or vegetable) broth around the cabbage.
Season Generously: Sprinkle the cabbage with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
Bake First Round: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Add the Cheese & Crisp Topping: Remove the foil, sprinkle Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs over the cabbage.
Finish Baking: Return to the oven and bake uncovered for another 20–25 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender and golden brown on top.
Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Serving Suggestions:
Pair this rich and creamy dish with grilled chicken, steak, or roasted salmon for a complete meal. It also makes a great low-carb alternative to pasta or potatoes.
