Gordon Ramsay’s Flavorful Steak Marinade

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:


1. 1/3 cup Balsamic Vinegar
2. 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
3. 3 tablespoons Olive oil
4. 2 cloves Garlic, minced
5. 2 sprigs Fresh rosemary, minced
6. 1/3 cup Dark Brown Sugar
7. 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
8. 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
9. 1/3 teaspoon Cayenne pepper

 

Directions:


1. Prepping the Marinade:
1.1. In a bowl, mix together balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, minced rosemary, dark brown sugar, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

2. Marinating the Steak:
2.1. Place your steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
2.2. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is fully coated.
2.3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or ideally overnight for maximum flavor.

3. Cooking the Steak:
3.1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
3.2. Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off.
3.3. Cook the steak to your desired level of doneness, flipping once during cooking.

4. Resting and Serving:
4.1. Once cooked, let the steak rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
4.2. Slice the steak against the grain and serve hot with your favorite sides.
