Ingredients:
For the beef:
500 g of beef (rib steak, flank steak or fillet), cut into thick strips
2 tbsp. tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tbsp. tablespoon of sesame oil
1 tbsp. tablespoon of honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp. teaspoon chopped garlic
Black pepper to taste
For the creamy sauce:
2 tbsp. tablespoon of mayonnaise
1 tbsp. tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tbsp. tbsp tahini or sesame puree (or peanut butter)
1 tbsp. teaspoon of rice vinegar or lemon juice
A little water to dilute
(Optional) Garlic powder, ginger or chili pepper
For service:
Hot white rice (jasmine or basmati)
Chives or chopped green onion
Sesame seeds, chili flakes (optional)
Preparation:
Marinate the beef:
Mix all the marinade ingredients. Add the pieces of beef and leave to rest for 30 minutes to 1 hour in the fridge.
Cooking beef:
Heat a frying pan or grill. Sear the beef pieces over high heat until they are nicely browned and caramelized.
Prepare the sauce:
Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Adjust the texture with a little water so that it is smooth.
Assembly :
In a bowl, place hot rice, add the grilled beef on top. Pour the sauce generously. Decorate with chives, sesame or chili pepper
