INSANE CHEESEBURGER SMOTHERED IN A CHEESY BEER SAUCE,

 

 

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef (80/20)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices of cheddar cheese
4 hamburger buns
For the Cheesy Beer Sauce:
1 cup beer (lager or ale)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp mustard
For the Spicy Candied Bacon:
8 slices of bacon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper ️
For the Crunchy Fries:
1 lb frozen French fries
Optional: extra salt and pepper for seasoning

Prepare the Candied Bacon:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place bacon slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the bacon.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy and caramelized. Let cool and then chop into pieces.
Cook the Fries:
While the bacon is baking, prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
Make the Cheesy Beer Sauce:
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the beer and bring to a simmer.
Stir in the garlic powder, mustard, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese. Continue stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Remove from heat.
Cook the Burgers:
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
Assemble the Burger:
Place each cheesy burger patty on a hamburger bun. Generously drizzle the cheesy beer sauce over the patty.
Top with spicy candied bacon and a mound of crunchy fries.
