Instructions:
Prep the Chicken:
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Rub with olive oil, then season all sides with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Grill or Bake:
Grilling: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place chicken skin-side down, grill 6–8 minutes per side.
Baking: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken on a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until juices run clear and internal temp reaches 165°F (75°C).
Add BBQ Sauce:
During the last 10 minutes of cooking, generously brush BBQ sauce over the chicken, turning and basting occasionally for sticky, caramelized goodness.
