Ingredients
4 medium potatoes (hard or grated meat), cut into quarters
1 large onion, cut into half rounds
2 c. with olive oil soup
1 c. with garlic powder coffee
1 c. with sweet or smoked paprika coffee
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh thyme (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Prepare a baking plate covered with sulfurized paper or a silicone mat.
Seasoning
In a big salad bowl, mixing:
The potato quarters
The onion slices
The olive oil
The garlic powder
Le paprika
Sel & poivre
. Mix well so that each piece is well coated.
Baking
Spread the whole mixture on the plate in a single layer (not too mashed, so they roast well).
Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning half-baked, until:
The fries be golden and crispy
The onions be caramelized well
Finish
Just out of the oven, sprinkle of fresh thyme if you want a little herb touch.
Serve warm, with grilled meat, an egg or simply with a yogurt-garlic-lemon sauce!
