Ingredients:
4 cups frozen French fries
Salt, to taste
1/2 lb thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded provolone cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
Directions:
Preheat your oven or air fryer according to the package instructions for the fries. Bake or air fry until golden and crispy. Sprinkle with salt and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced steak and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from heat.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the heavy cream and heat until warm. Slowly add the shredded cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth. Mix in Dijon mustard if desired.
Place the crispy fries on a serving plate. Top with the cooked steak slices. Pour the warm cheese sauce over the top or sprinkle more shredded cheese on top and broil for 1-2 minutes until melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh parsley or diced green onions, if desired. Serve and enjoy!
