Rich and Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Pasta Delight

2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 cups cooked fettuccine pasta
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute, then add the mushrooms. Cook for about 5 minutes until tender.
Add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 4-5 minutes to thicken.
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
Toss in the cooked fettuccine pasta, ensuring it’s well coated with the creamy sauce.
Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, mixing everything together.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
