1 whole chicken (about 4-5 pounds)
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lemon, cut into wedges

In a small bowl, combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Take the whole chicken and rub it down with olive oil, ensuring it’s covered all over. Then, coat the chicken with the mixed spices. Take the lemon wedges and place them inside the chicken’s cavity. Once seasoned, transfer the chicken to your slow cooker and put the lid on. Cook on a low setting for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for about 4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and the juices run clear.
