– 1/2 cup crushed saltine crackers

– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)

In a bowl, combine the flaked salmon, chopped onion, crushed saltine crackers, mayonnaise, egg, and lemon juice. Mix everything well and season with salt and pepper to your liking. Shape the mixture into patties. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry each patty for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown and are cooked through. Once done, drain them on paper towels to remove any excess oil. Serve them hot. Enjoy!
