4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
8 oz penne or rotini pasta
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions:
Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
Add minced garlic and Cajun seasoning, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 3-5 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmer until the sauce thickens, about 3 minutes.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the sauce.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
