Steak & Shrimp with Cajun Cream Sauce 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

• 1 New York strip or ribeye steak

• 6–8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

• 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

• 2 tbsp butter

• 3 cloves garlic, minced

• 1/2 cup heavy cream

• 1/4 cup chicken broth

• 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)

• Salt & black pepper to taste

• Fresh parsley (for garnish)

 

Instructions:

1. Cook the Steak:

• Season with salt, pepper, and a bit of Cajun seasoning.

• Sear in a hot skillet with 1 tbsp butter (3–4 mins per side for medium). Rest when done.

2. Sear the Shrimp:

• In the same pan, cook shrimp with a little butter until just pink. Remove and set aside.

3. Make the Sauce:

• Add garlic to the skillet, sauté until fragrant.

• Stir in cream, broth, Cajun seasoning, and red pepper. Simmer until thickened (3–4 mins).

4. Combine & Serve:

• Return steak and shrimp to the pan, spoon sauce over the top.

• Garnish with fresh parsley.
