For the Steak:

4 ribeye or sirloin steaks
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Garlic Cream Sauce:

2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves (minced)
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Cook the Steaks:

Season steaks generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust based on your preferred doneness.
Remove steaks from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes.
Prepare the Garlic Cream Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Serve:

Spoon the creamy garlic sauce over the steaks.
