Succulent Filet Mignon Drizzled with Brandy Peppercorn Sauce

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

* Filet mignon: 4 steaks
* Brandy: 1/4 cup (substitute with beef broth)
* Heavy cream: 1/2 cup
* Black peppercorns: 2 tbsp, crushed
* Butter: 2 tbsp
* Salt: to taste

1๏ธโƒฃ Season filet mignon with salt and pepper, sear in butter until desired doneness.
2๏ธโƒฃ Remove steaks, deglaze pan with brandy (or broth).
3๏ธโƒฃ Stir in heavy cream and peppercorns, simmer until sauce thickens.
4๏ธโƒฃ Drizzle sauce over steaks and serve.
