2 filet mignon steaks (or ribeye)
12 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup beef broth
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
Cook the Steak:
Season steaks with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
Add butter and minced garlic, basting the steaks for about a minute.
Remove from heat and let rest.
Sauté the Shrimp:
Using the same skillet, add shrimp.
Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Cook for about 2 minutes per side until golden and opaque.
Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Pour in beef broth, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper.
Stir in heavy cream and let simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
Plate & Serve:
Arrange the steak and shrimp on a plate.
Drizzle the creamy garlic butter sauce over the top.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
