Ingredients:
– 1 lb flank steak
– 1 cup sliced bell peppers
– 1 cup sliced onions
– 1/2 cup matchstick carrots
– 1 cup broccoli florets
– 2 green onions, sliced into 1-inch pieces
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 2 tbsp cornstarch
– 2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
Sauce:
– 1/2 cup soy sauce
– 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
– 3 tbsp brown sugar
– 1 tsp ginger
– 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions:
- Slice the flank steak thinly across the grain. Place in a bowl and mix with soy sauce and cornstarch. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce by combining soy sauce, red pepper flakes, brown sugar, ginger, and minced garlic in a separate bowl. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Fry the steak on each side for about 2 minutes, working in batches if necessary to avoid crowding the pan.
- Remove the cooked steak from the pan and set aside. Add all the vegetables except the green onions to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the prepared sauce and cooked steak back into the pan. Cook for an additional minute.
- Finally, add the sliced green onions to the pan. Stir everything together and cook for another minute.
- Serve hot and enjoy this delicious beef stir-fry!❤️
