1 cup Heavy Cream Can swap for half and half for a lighter version.
1 cup Parmesan Cheese Asiago or Pecorino can work as alternatives.
For Garnish
1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley A sprinkle elevates both flavor and presentation.
Method
Steps
Generously sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the ribeye steaks for flavor enhancement. Let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes while you prepare your ingredients.
Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Allow it to melt completely, becoming bubbly and slightly foamy.
Carefully add the steaks to the hot skillet. Sear for 4-5 minutes per side for that perfect medium-rare.
Once seared, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for 5 minutes.
Lower the skillet’s heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream, whisking to incorporate all the tasty browned bits from the pan.
Gradually mix in the grated Parmesan cheese while whisking, allowing it to melt and thicken the sauce.
Taste the sauce and season it with salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
Slice the rested steak and plate it beautifully. Drizzle the creamy Parmesan sauce over the steak and finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
