2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
For the Glaze Sauce:
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)
Instructions:
Prep the Ribs:
Pat the ribs dry. Remove the silver skin membrane from the back if not already done.
Rub olive oil over the ribs and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Bake the Ribs:
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
Wrap the ribs in foil (meat side up) and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
Make the Glaze Sauce:
In a saucepan, mix all glaze ingredients.
Simmer on low heat for 5–10 minutes until thickened slightly.
Finish with Glaze:
Unwrap ribs and discard foil.
Brush glaze generously over the ribs.
Broil in the oven for 5–7 minutes or until caramelized and sticky, brushing with extra glaze halfway through.
Serve:
Let rest for a few minutes, then slice between bones and serve hot.
