Lemon Garlic Lobster Tails
Butter-Basted Lemon Garlic Lobster Tails
Ingredients:
4 lobster tails
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil.
- Using kitchen shears, cut down the top shell of each lobster tail to the tail fin. Gently pull the meat up, keeping it attached at the base, and rest it on top of the shell.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the lobster meat generously with the lemon garlic butter mixture.
- Place the lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
- Garnish the lobster tails with chopped fresh parsley and serve with additional lemon wedges.
