Ingredients:
1 lb chicken tenders (about 8–10 pieces)
8–10 slices of bacon
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
½ tsp black pepper
Toothpicks (optional, for securing bacon)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top (optional, but helps keep bacon crispy).
Season the chicken: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Rub this seasoning blend onto each chicken tender.
Wrap with bacon: Wrap each tender tightly with a slice of bacon. If needed, secure the ends with a toothpick.
Roll in sugar: Lightly press each bacon-wrapped tender into remaining brown sugar to coat the outside.
Bake: Place tenders on the wire rack or prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and bacon is crispy. For crispier bacon, broil for the last 2–3 minutes, watching carefully.
Rest & serve: Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
