Bacon-Wrapped Sausages with Honey Glaze

6 sausages (beef, pork, or chicken)
6 slices of bacon (thinly sliced)
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
Toothpicks (optional)

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easier cleanup and place a wire rack on top.
Wrap the Sausages:

Wrap each sausage with a slice of bacon, starting from one end and spiraling to the other. Secure the bacon with a toothpick if needed.
Make the Glaze:

In a small bowl, mix honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
Brush the Sausages:

Place the bacon-wrapped sausages on the wire rack and brush them generously with the honey glaze.
Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, flip the sausages and brush with more glaze.
Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and caramelized.
Serve:

Remove from the oven, let them cool slightly, and serve warm as a party appetizer or part of a hearty meal.
Optional Garnish:
Sprinkle chopped parsley or sesame seeds for a decorative touch.
