Ingredients

For the Chicken:

250g boneless chicken breast or thigh (cut into bite-sized pieces)

1 egg

2 tbsp cornflour

2 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida)

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt & pepper to taste

Oil for deep frying

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

3 tbsp mayonnaise

1½ tbsp sweet chilli sauce

1 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 tsp honey or sugar (optional, for balance)

1 tsp lemon juice

 

Instructions

1. Marinate & Fry Chicken:

In a bowl, whisk egg, cornflour, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Add chicken pieces, mix well to coat evenly.

Heat oil and deep-fry chicken pieces until golden and crispy.

Drain on paper towel.

2. Prepare the Sauce:

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce, sriracha, honey, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.

3. Assemble:

Toss hot fried chicken in the bang bang sauce until well coated.

Garnish with chopped spring onion or sesame seeds (optional).

Serving Suggestion: Serve hot with lettuce cups, on a bed of noodles, or with fried rice.
