Ingredients:
– 2 racks of pork ribs (approximately 4-5 pounds)
– 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 tablespoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
– 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
– Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
2. Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
4. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels and rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, making sure to coat both sides.
5. Place the ribs on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover tightly with more foil to trap steam.
6. Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until tender.
7. Remove the ribs from the oven and brush generously with barbecue sauce, then return to the oven uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
8. During the last 10 minutes, increase the oven temperature to broil to caramelize the sauce. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
9. Once cooked, remove the ribs from the oven, allow them to rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve, garnished with fresh parsley and extra barbecue sauce on the side.
