1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuits
1 lb breakfast sausage
3 cups frozen shredded hashbrowns
1 packet (2.75 oz) sausage gravy mix
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease.
3. Prepare sausage gravy: In the same skillet or a saucepan, whisk together the sausage gravy mix and 2 cups of milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then reduce heat and simmer until thickened. Stir in the cooked sausage.
4. Cut biscuits into quarters and spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
5. Layer hashbrowns evenly over the biscuit pieces.
6. Pour sausage gravy mixture over the hashbrowns and biscuits.
7. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the biscuits are cooked through and the top is golden and bubbly.
9. Let cool slightly before serving.
