Buttery Garlic Oven-Baked Lobster Tail

Ingredients:

For the Lobster Tail:

2 lobster tails (6–8 oz each)
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

For Garnish & Serving:

1 lemon, cut into halves (lightly charred for extra flavor)
1 tbsp melted butter (for drizzling)
Extra fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Lobster Tail:

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Using kitchen shears, cut down the center of the lobster shell, stopping just before the tail fin.
Gently lift the lobster meat from the shell while keeping it attached at the base, resting it on top of the shell for an elegant presentation.

2. Make the Buttery Garlic Sauce:

In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

3. Bake the Lobster:

Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush generously with the garlic butter sauce, ensuring the meat is fully coated.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the lobster is opaque and slightly firm.
Optional: For a golden crust, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end.

4. Char the Lemons:

While the lobster bakes, heat a pan over high heat.
Place lemon halves cut-side down and sear for 2–3 minutes until lightly charred.

5. Serve & Garnish:

Place lobster tails on a serving plate.
Drizzle with extra warm melted butter for a glistening finish.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with charred lemon halves for a burst of citrus.

A decadent, buttery lobster tail with rich garlic flavors, perfect for an indulgent seafood feast! ✨
