Classic Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:


– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1/4 cup milk
– 1 onion, diced
– 1 green bell pepper, diced
– 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
– 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, salt, and pepper.
3. Press the meat mixture into the loaf pan, making a well down the center.
4. In a skillet, sauté the onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until softened. Fill the well in the meatloaf with the sautéed vegetables.
5. Top the meatloaf with shredded provolone cheese.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
