Ingredients :
4 chicken breasts
100g chorizo, thinly sliced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon mustard (optional)
2 tablespoons of butter
2 cloves of garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions :
Cook the chicken:
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook them in the pan for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
Sauté the chorizo:
In the same pan, add the sliced chorizo and cook for 2-3 minutes, until it becomes slightly crispy and releases its oil.
Prepare the creamy sauce:
Add the minced garlic to the pan and fry for 1 minute until it becomes fragrant.
Add the chicken broth, heavy cream and mustard (if using). Stir well and simmer the sauce for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
Mix the chicken and sauce:
Return the chicken breasts to the pan, coating them well with the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to warm the chicken through and blend the flavors.
Serve :
Garnish the dish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately. You can accompany this dish with rice, pasta or vegetables.
