1.5 to 2 lbs round steak: Cut into bite-sized pieces.
1 sweet onion: Chopped.
1 tablespoon minced garlic: For bold, savory flavor.
1 teaspoon salt: Enhances the seasoning.

1/4 cup unsalted butter: Adds richness.
1 cup beef broth: Or use unsalted beef stock

Step 1:
Cut round steak into 1-inch chunks. Place the steak pieces into the slow cooker.
Step 2:
Pour beef broth over the steak. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Dot the top with butter.
Step 3:
Cover the crockpot and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours. Stir occasionally if you’re home, but it’s not required.
Step 4:
