Easy Marinated Cheese Appetizer with Salami & Pickles

8 oz block of cheddar cheese, cubed

8 oz block of mozzarella cheese, cubed

4 oz sliced salami, cut into quarters

1/2 cup pickles (gherkins or cornichons), sliced

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tbsp red wine vinegar

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1/4 tsp black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

In a large bowl, combine cheddar cheese cubes, mozzarella cheese cubes, salami pieces, and pickle slices.

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.

Pour the marinade over the cheese, salami, and pickles. Toss gently to coat everything evenly.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to 24 hours) to allow the flavors to meld.

Before serving, garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with toothpicks or small skewers for easy grabbing.
