Filet & Lobster Luxe: Indulge in Decadence

Ingredients:

For the Filet Mignon:

2 filet mignon steaks (6–8 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Shrimp Lobster Sauce:

8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare the Filet Mignon:

Pat the filets dry and season generously with garlic powder, salt, and pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3–4 minutes on each side (for medium-rare) or longer for your desired doneness.
Remove the filets and set them aside to rest, loosely covered with foil.
2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:

In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp of butter. Add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Lobster Cream Sauce:

Reduce heat to medium and add the remaining butter to the skillet. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Add the lemon juice, fresh parsley, and cooked shrimp. Stir gently to coat the shrimp in the sauce.
4️⃣ Assemble & Serve:

Place the filet mignon on a plate and spoon the shrimp lobster cream sauce over the top. Garnish with more parsley for an elegant touch.
5️⃣ Enjoy the Elegance:

Serve immediately with a side of mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, or buttery garlic bread.
