Garlic Butter Salmon Ultimate

Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

Juice of ½ lemon (plus extra lemon wedges for serving)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional for garnish)

Lemon zest (optional, for extra zing)

Instructions:

1. Prep the Salmon:

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.

Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

2. Heat the Pan:

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.

Once the butter is melted and slightly foamy, place salmon fillets skin-side down (if using skin-on).

3. Sear the Salmon:

Cook for 4–5 minutes (depending on thickness) without moving the fillets, until the salmon is mostly cooked through and the bottom is golden and crispy.

Flip and cook for another 2–3 minutes, then transfer salmon to a plate.

4. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-low.

Add remaining 3 tbsp butter and the minced garlic.

Sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t let it burn!).

5. Add Lemon:

Stir in lemon juice and zest (if using), scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

6. Finish the Dish:

Return salmon fillets to the pan and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top.

Cook for 1–2 more minutes to reheat and soak in the flavor.

7. Serve:

Plate the salmon and drizzle with extra garlic butter from the pan.

Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges.
