8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp nutmeg (optional for extra warmth)
¼ cup pasta water (reserved from boiling pasta)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta:
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Sear the Steak Bites:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Add butter and garlic, tossing the steak in the melted garlic butter.
Remove from heat and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce:
In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream, then whisk in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Stir in reserved pasta water for extra creaminess.
4️⃣ Combine & Serve:
Toss the pasta in the creamy Parmesan sauce until fully coated.
Top with garlic butter steak bites and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
