Ingredients:
For the Steak:
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp fresh rosemary or thyme
For the Creamy Spinach Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
Salt & black pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Cook the Steak:
Pat steaks dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
Reduce heat to medium, add butter, garlic, and rosemary. Spoon melted butter over the steak for 1-2 minutes.
Remove steak and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
2. Make the Creamy Spinach Pasta:
Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, followed by spinach. Cook until spinach wilts.
Add pasta, toss to coat, and season with salt & pepper.
3. Serve & Enjoy:
Place the steak on a plate and drizzle with any remaining garlic butter.
Serve alongside the creamy spinach pasta.
